Client: Student project

Challenge: Create an illustration for an article using Illustrator for the background and Photoshop for the foreground.

Description: From the list provided in class, I chose to illustrate this article about Tennessee Rep. Justin Pearson wearing a dashiki to the House floor.

I love working with textured brushes in my illustrations, so I used a wide range of them along with saturated underpaintings on my figures to create high contrast from my more subtle, vectorized background.
