Challenge: Create three logos for a fictional business.
Description: This is a redo of an old assignment where I designed logos for a business from a provided list. I made sure to experiment a lot more with different ideas this time, making much more successful iterations as a result.
Old Logos
When I first did this assignment, I made a successful mascot and color combo, but I wasn’t yet confident enough in varying my ideas; as such, all three designs had the same palette, and two of them reused the same imagery. The typography wasn’t very effective either, with the first being too thin, the second having too tight margins, and the third having an unpleasant typeface combo.
Keeping all these shortcomings in mind, I made sure to improve on all of them on the redo.
